Certify Me Now’s goal is to provide social and economic value by making direct grants to our mentees in support of their long term educational goals. As an organization, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families through our distinctive mentoring process.
Currently, CMN provides support through cash grants to recipients who have a desire to continue learning. CMN also supports a range of pre-university-level education programs aimed at helping students develop the critical thinking skills essential for tomorrow’s jobs.
Our philanthropic approach is to create a positive impact in our communities today by investing in our students for the future. To achieve this goal, we form partnerships with key community stakeholders. We work with our mentees to identify critical issues and invest in them to better equip each mentee to address the problems of the 21st century.
Overall, our giving falls into four categories critical to the long-term success of our mentees: Education/Certification, Personal Development, Professional Development, and Relationship Building.
Certify Me Now works to strengthen educational opportunities for everyone, regardless of economic circumstances, and cultivate learning as a lifelong process that begins in early childhood. Mentees seeking a grant should be located in the continental U.S.

Certify Me Now is a *501 - (C)(3) Virginia based non - profit corporation.In February 2008, Curtis N. Ofori, CPA founded Certify Me Now (CMN) because he recognized the need to empower and enrich high potential minorities to succeed in society and business.
Currently, we have mentors working from coast to coast in Washington, D.C., New York, NY, Boston, MA, Austin, TX and San Diego, CA. Our mentors and directors encompass diversity of thought, experience and background. They are rising leaders in commercial real estate, private equity, investment banking, politics, law, accounting and management consulting.
